		<description><![CDATA[That would be a great foundation for a new civilization, the mentally ill.

Of course, we could send sterile mentally ill up with a bunch of healthy orphan babies so that the journey gets underway with people crazy enough to be willing to make the flight, but they are replaceed by healthy people sometime mid-journey who have adapted to life in space.]]></description>

I do not think we will ever escape the solar system, since travelling at any speed capable of getting us to another star system would likely kill us from the radiation caused by plowing into particles at some significant fraction of the speed of light, but we could at least colonize the moon, mars or perhap a moon of Jupiter.]]></description>
